Annual Meeting Boston 2008

We went to Boston on Wed. January 23, 2008.

Sharon Judd was actually there on Tuesday. We had bag stuffing, mug wrapping, silent auction duties, helping with the banquet, and various other duties.

Our club was responsible with the direct guidance of Sharon Judd to man the registration desk and office. Sharon spent about 12 hours a day smiling and getting people registered. I know we all agree we could not have put a nicer person in to welcome the guests. I want to Thank Sharon for all she did during this meeting.

I want to thank the following members, parents and friends for many hours of work.

Deb Titus, Nancy Horten, Teagan Judd, Sara Eskel, Sarah Titus, Katie Biery, Meg Biery, Christine Comeau, Erica Comeau, Meghan Daly, Amber Anderson, Lara Hubner, Amy Goodhue, Laura Grant, Justina Langone, Cheryl Fitzgerald and Lyn Riccio.

I would like to say thank you to all for the donations made to CNE for the silent auction. Deb Titus brought music boxes from her mom. My husband Rich donated Coca Cola items and Rich and Amy Goodhue for the awesome wooden tack trunk and Visible Horse.

Deb Titus presented a workshop on Dealing with a Bully in Pony Club (we don't have any in Rockingham) - this was a workshop for DCs.

Lara Hubner was the Trading Fair Coordinator. She worked for months in advance to make this happen.

Without a doubt, Rockingham Pony Club played an important role in making this hard-to-beat annual meeting the success that it was! We had people walking up to our registration table and stopping us in the hallways just to tell us how fantastic everything was at this meeting. We even overheard people say what a fantastic job we did.  Thank you Rockingham - you really made this happen.

Along with all this hard work we were able to go to the banquet for some eating, drinking and dancing. As always, Rockingham was noticed.

If the dance floor is crowded dance on the chairs!
